  Awful customer service, the front desk staff will just stand there until it suits them to help you. No urgency or general friendliness. This is why crash pads are a thing. Yet another reason I can’t wait to leave the Air Force.

  Great Air Force Hotel. Stay on first floor no elevators and bring food there is nothing within walking distance. The rooms are very large two room and they are clean. Each room has two t.vs which is important with kids. Make sure you ask for xtra towles they kinda skimp on those. For the price in L.A you cant beat it. So if you have a military i.d stay here and support what we love " our countries military"... BX is off base along with the commissary but dont waste your time they are very runned down. In all my years in the service its the worst one i have seen and its the only one i have ever seen off base, either one isnt within walking distance and even if you did walk it i dont think the area is very safe. The DOD needs to make up there mind if they keep it open give them some money for a new building on base,i know this sounds very negative and as far as the BX goes it is bad But the bad news ends there. The rest of this small base is a hidden jewel in southern California. Ooo
